Second Mondays π©πΏβπ€π§πΏβπ¨π§πΏββοΈ:
Second Mondays is a multi-disciplinary open mic for Black creatives to share/enjoy incredible art and for our Black community to have the time of their lives π₯Ί. It's our goal for our people to constantly be living their wildest dreams.
It's what we at Gold Beams have been doing for three years.
A Chance to Perform on the Black Joy Parade Stage π€―!
We're partnering with the Black Joy Parade again and you know what that means... PRIZES πππΏπ€!!!
We'll be choosing 3 special winners from the November Second Mondays event, and another 3 at the December Second Monday event. These 6 artists will have secured spots on the January Second Mondays open mic list.
This is HUGE because the list fills FAST and many people don't get a chance to perform during the Gold Beams x Black Joy Parade Collab. The list closes within the first 10 minutes of the event.
The winner of the January Second Mondays will perform on the Black Joy Parade Stage in front of THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE π₯π₯π₯. There will be prizes for 2nd and 3rd place winners too.
Venue π‘:
The event will be at the former Impact Hub on 2323 Broadway in Oakland. It is now an Oakstop venue.
Masks are required for entry and, outside of eating or drinking, must be worn.
Artists π©πΏβπ€π§πΏβπ€π¨πΏβπ€:

If you have instrumentals, please bring a dongle to connect your phone.
Your art must be respectful to the people in the space. To our community.
