Second Mondays
Second Mondays is more than a monthly open mic, it’s a space where over 150 black creatives come to share + enjoy art of all disciplines, enjoy free food + wine, and to commune with community. We’re looking forward to communing in this way again after the pandemic!
Fourth Mondays started as a space for creatives to talk through art projects. It has now morphed into a Tiny Desk like mini concert series which features amazing performances and storytelling Black creatives. Check out the episodes on our YouTube.

In Real Life
The In Real Life Series (IRL) is a three part talk series for black men and women. The first two segments are for black men and women separately and the third segment bring them together. The goal is for one gender to learn more about the other while sharing what they want that gender to know about them and vice versa.

Our mixers and socials are created to form more intimate bonds within our community, often over specific interests and passions in inspiring spaces.
Create at the Lake
Create at the Lake is our summer paint and sip series by Oaklands staple, Lake Merritt.

We are currently creating a docu-series, more filmed content for digital platforms as well as telling the story of us through a curated art exhibit + documentary. Stay tuned, there’s so much more to come!
